PILCHER HAMP F - 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION
He was a native of my home, Sabine Parish, Louisiana. We visited his grave in Normandy. By all I can glean from the records, he was a member of Co. A, 1/505 PIR. That would make Lt. " Red Dog " Dolan his company commander at the Battle of La Fiere. We went to La Fiere, too. Hand salute, Sir !!  (Honoré parRocky Wright)
