I was researching D-Day information. Just wanted to find out if anyone that is still alive would know my father-in-law, his name is Edwin Schecklman. He was in the 115th Infantry 29th Division Company K. He is still alive he wondered what happen to Muligan. He thought he was killed. Thanks, Helen Schecklman

En effet, ma dernière visite 20 ans en arrière, était avec mon père décédé depuis. Emotions, car à 16 ans à l'époque, j'avais été profondément marqué par l'âge de ces valeureux jeunes américains venus mourir si loin de chez eux, pour défendre un belle idée de la LIBERTE et des belles valeurs de la vie. Je voudrai vous remercier pour me permettre à travers vos livres poignants, de retrouver chez moi cette émotion vécue en Normandie. Je voudrais remercier aussi tous les vétérans, grâce à eux, aujourd'hui, nous et nos enfants pouvons vivre libres. Que la générosité de cette génération d'Hommes ne soit jamais oubliée. Laurent: I came across your site today while looking up some information on the WN's at Vierville sur Mer. I love the information and photos on your site. I was on a tour sponsored by the National D-Day Museum in New Orleans in early June. Hal Baumgarten was also on the tour. I was editing a videotape of Hal Baumgarten (shot on June 6, 2006 on the beach at Vierville) talking about his experiences 62 years ago. It was a spellbinding story (as Hal has summarized on your site) about a very difficult day on that beach. Can you tell me what WN numbers belong to what WN's at Vierville? I am trying to be make sure they are indicated correctly in the video. Thanks for your help and thanks for having this site available. Best Regards, Mark
